We decided to head south to a lovely little town called Hopetoun and camped on a beautiful lake just next to the town called Lake Lescelles. This lake has water in it all year round due to the fact it is connected to the massive pipework network connecting the area to water. There is in excess of 8,000 kms of fresh water pipeline that feeds this area of South Australia.
Below you see a friend of ours performing a walk on water miracle.
Ahhh tricked you didn't I he was just a very clever man being pulled behind a boat :0)
Some of the sunsets from this place were simply stunning
And with our inflatable boat the SS Dolphin I guess you could say...
On Golden Pond! :)
They tell me the surf will be up soon!

It was here at Hopetoun we saw this poster walking into the local IGA store for groceries. Janice McRoe has a type of cancer she is battling and unfortunately the drug she needs is not on the PBS schedule so she needs $24,000 to pay for it. If anyone can help Janice please donate to her bank account which details are in the poster below.
or if you can't read it they are...
Account name Thomas and Janice McRoe;
Commonwealth Bank Hopetoun
BSB 063 692
Account Number 10080125
Any help would be appreciated
I thought I would try to help as well....
And annoy the town's folk enough that they would throw money at me to go away. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to fix Janice's financial problem but anything is better than nothing eh!
Just out of Hopetoun we found this fantastic mural on the side of a grain silo
And with that it was time to say goodbye to Hopetoun and HIT THE ROAD!
Lovin the reads guys, if you guys are near Sydney in September we should meet up in the big smoke, we are there with the kids for a quick holiday.
