MERRIWELL / COOMBA FALLS

So we head to a place in Merriwell not far from the Bunya Mountains where the Coomba Falls are.

Saw this interesting little fellow....

A beautiful spot

Water gushes down these falls in winter and is a lovely spot to swim in summer for the locals

We thought this would be a good spot to play another one of my songs.

It's called 'Stupey' ;)

Karen got in the act as well hahahaha she didn't think I would put it on the blog!

Kazza finding Bam Bam, mission impossible!

Here we go 2,3,...ahhh 1 (in joke)

Here I practise the art of levitation.

Stunning!

Now that tree's on a bender!

Grass trees are extremely slow growing. Did you know that in poor bush soil the trunk will grow approx 9mm per year? They take up to 10 years to start forming a trunk, and a tree with a 1 metre long trunk could be 100 years old!

That means these grass trees are pretty old!

So with that it's time to say goodbye to this special place and

Time to hit the road!
